Touch Down Hangzhou. On our way to the hotel, we came across to the impressing tall building of Hikvision located in the shiny business district of Hangzhou, high tech, and several Hikvision brand closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras are installed in streets and around the building.
DAY 1 – Visiting the Hikvision
Manufacturing Plant and Headquarters Hikvision manufacturing plant is very huge and is constantly improving and enhancing, in fact, there are still buildings currently under construction.
Entering the facility, we noticed one of the inventions of Hikvision, the sorting robot – For express delivery logistics user’s efficient, fast package sorting needs, HIK robot independent research and development of intelligent sorting robot.
Through the system support, the sorting robot can deliver the sorted goods to the corresponding unloading port in an optimal way for delivery, and the picking speed and delivery accuracy are significantly improved compared with that of the manual picking.
That’s why even though they have a very large plant you will only see a few workers in it. Hikvision has given us the opportunity to see the step by step process of assembling CCTV Cameras. From making Chips up testing its lenses and ingress protection and up to boxing or packaging.
After visiting the Hikvision Manufacturing plant, we headed to their headquarters where there was a company history presentation, and they showed us different CCTV Camera solutions (Smart Safe City Surveillance Solution, Smart Mobile Solution, Smart Traffic Solution, Smart Banking Solution, Smart Retail Solution, Smart Hotel Solution, Smart Industrial Parks Solution, Smart Port and Maritime Solution and many more) and showed us actual footage of CCTV camera installed in different places in Hangzhou.

DAY 2 – Wuzhen Town Wuzhen
Visiting Wuzhen Town Wuzhen is a historic scenic town, part of Tongxiang, located in northern Zhejiang Province, China. It lies within the triangle formed by Hangzhou, Suzhou, and Shanghai.
It is a famous and popular travel destination near Hangzhou. Wuzhen has a history of 1300-years and ancient Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal flows through the town.
As a representative of the ancient water town architecture and culture, it has become a huge tourist spot for Chinese and foreigners alike.
DAY 3 – West Lake Exploring
Visiting West Lake Exploring the shiny Business District The West Lake is arguably the most famous sights in the city and is absolutely beautiful to see – so much so that Lake is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
A Business District doesn’t sound like the most exciting place to visit but that because other Business Districts aren’t built like this one.
This part of the city is home to some of the most impressively tall building in the city though the real Jewel in the crown here is the Golden Sun building – which looks exactly like the sun! In fact, from a bird’s eye view, the building next to it looks like the moon hence the nickname “the sun and the moon” when you’re here.
